Do I need an account to design?
No. You can design without one, and your design stays in your browser. An account saves it so you can come back to it anywhere, and you’ll need one to order.
Will it really look like the preview?
Very close. The preview is drawn from the same outlines the laser follows. Wood is natural, though: the grain, the colour and how dark the burn comes out vary a little from paddle to paddle.
One side or both?
Single-sided paddles are made to hang on a wall: we engrave the front, which has a rounded, routed edge, and leave the back plain and flat. Double-sided paddles are made to be used: we route the back to match the front and engrave both faces. Choose in the designer with “One side” or “Both sides”.
Does anyone check my design?
Yes, a person reads every design before it’s engraved. If something won’t engrave well, or breaks the content policy, we’ll tell you before anything is made.
When can I order?
Soon. We’re setting up payments. Save your designs now and they’ll be ready when we open.
How is it packed?
In a plain box with nothing about us or what’s inside on the outside, and no prices on the packing slip. More on the shipping page.
What will my card statement say?
A neutral business name: not DDLG Shop, and nothing about what you bought.
Where do you ship?
Within the United States, for now.
Can I return it?
Each paddle is made to order with your design, so we can’t take one back because you’ve changed your mind. If it arrives damaged or not as you designed it, tell us and we’ll make it right.
Are my designs private?
Yes. Only you can see them, unless you share a link to one. Your email address is encrypted in our database, and this site has no ads, trackers or analytics. See our privacy page.
What won’t you engrave?
Anything that refers to or sexualizes children or anyone under 18, hate or threats, and a few other things. The content policy has the whole list.
